How I Increase Your Value of Time®

As the Chief Investment Officer, part of my role is to think (and worry!) about things that most people don’t have the time, skill, or—very likely—the inclination to deal with. Together with our firm’s team of Analysts, I seek to tackle tough, pressing issues such as the current state of the economy, potential shifts in asset allocation, or investment manager performance. Our clients are free to leave the role of worrying to us, as we manage their investments prudently.

My Career Journey

Prior to joining Pacific Portfolio in 2004, I spent over a decade with Smith Barney’s Consulting Group in Washington, DC. Having served the investment consulting needs of a broad range of institutional investors as well as individuals with high net worth, I have ample experience in handling the different and unexpected challenges thrown at investors. .

My Academic Base

In addition to being a CFA Charterholder, I have a MBA in International Banking and Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from George Washington University.

What the Value of Time® Means to Me Personally

Apart from working hard (and enjoying the process) as an Investment Officer, I cherish my precious time spent with my family. As a father to two teenagers, I am acutely aware of two things: time goes by quickly and there simply is never enough of it! These two mantras have been key in shaping my view on the Value of Time®, driving me to come to work everyday, ready to give my A-game and make an impact. When the day is done, I look forward to going home to my family, with whom the time I spend is absolutely priceless!
