How I Increase Your Value of Time®

Over the past 30 years, I have found immense satisfaction in taking on a variety of roles in several organizations that encompass the 401(k) profession. This has enabled me to gain a thorough, “hands-on” experience in all the services required for a complete retirement program. I leverage this expertise to directly address the challenges that an employer encounters in fulfilling their fiduciary duties to their plan participants.

I work in tandem with retirement plan committees and strive to ensure that their retirement program not only fulfills its designed goals and objectives successfully but also that the investment options are performing well for participants.

My Career Journey

Before joining Pacific Portfolio in November 2012, I was a Senior Product Manager at Russell Investments in Seattle. At Russell, I was responsible for facilitating the development, implementation, and management of various investment products focusing on retirement solutions for 401(k) plans and post-retirement investors.

Before that, I was the Director of Product Planning for ADP Retirement Services in Florham Park, New Jersey. In my role, I was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of retirement plan recordkeeping and plan administration services for ADP’s Retirement Services business. I also developed ADP’s government plans business that provided retirement savings plans as an alternative to social security for certain governmental employees.

As a native of the Northwest, I began my financial services career in Seattle with IPC Pension Services as a Retirement Plan Administrator before joining William M. Mercer as a Consulting Analyst. In these roles, I was responsible for managing defined contribution retirement plans including all record-keeping, compliance testing, trust reconciliation, and tax reporting.

My Academic Base

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from Eastern Washington University. I am a Certified Pension Consultant, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, and designated as a Qualified Pension Administrator by the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).

What the Value of Time® Means to Me Personally

We all naturally enjoy spending our time on things that are truly meaningful in our lives. I believe that by leveraging resources and technology to be more efficient with our mundane responsibilities, we can free up more time for those aspects that truly matter. I personally value my time enjoying outdoor activities with my family, adventure riding on my motorcycle with friends, and working on my golf game.
